Im having problems with the firewall and router setting to play online .

i already checked the firewall settings and turned off .
i tryied to play rome total war online .
but it wont let me play .
now .
i cant use Windows live messenger .
ares p2p .
i dont know
somebody told me that it was the router and i had to put some port codes in there .
but i dont know . :help:
