This mod aims a good balance between historical accuracy and gamplay.
The mod converts the game to Eastern Europe and will focus on conflicts between the russian grand duchies, the turks and seljuks, but the teutonic wars will also be in.
The mod will give you the possibility to play with 13 new factions and to unite russia under your banner.
the map ends in the north in the north of scandinavia, in the east in front of the Aral Lake, in the south at Acre and in the West with Rome.
The map is nearly finished, but i have a few problems with the descr_regions.
If you want to join, post in the Thread or PM me (Nevada)

This mod will allow you to fight the Hunderd Years War in France and Britain and nothing else. It's completely focused at this single time period. An entire new map is already done, and so are parts of one of the new factions.
In the first release you will be able to play as France, England, the Holy Roman Empire, Aragon, Savoy or Burgundy and with little patches we will be adding factions as Flanders, Brittany and the Kingdom of Castille in future.
The goal of this mod is making it an enjoyable mod, we like history, but we're not some realism-buffs that want everything done correctly. Hence why you will still see faction colours, just because they look cool and they will make things easier for you.

The aim of the Europa Crudus is to create an environment that is as immersive and historically accurate as possible, while still preserving the gameplay of Medieval II:Total War. We also hope to exploit any and all available resources that become available as a result of the upcoming release of the Kingdoms expansion pack. Unlike some other mods, which limit themselves to more accurately portraying certain geographies or nationalities, our mod intends to inject a much needed dose of playable historical accuracy across the board.

This mod adds over 130 new banner and over 300 new shield textures for Medieval 2.
Every one of the large factions have received new banners, please see full list.
I've also created a system which will allow more banners for each faction than was available in vanilla. I think this helps to better enjoy the feeling and immersion of the battles now.

You can play as any major nations of that time, and the Campaign Map ranges from Alaska to the tip of South America. AMong the nations commonly heard of in America (Britain,France,Spain, etc) you can also play lesser known nations (Russia, New Sweden, etc) and also the plain fun (Pirate Factions)

The purpose of this mod is to combine all the various non-fantasy mods into a single mod. The main benefit of this is that it eliminates the risk of several mods conflicting with each other.
I will only be accepting mods from the people who have made them because it is up to the creator of each mod to decide how their mod is used.

This is intended to be a three part mod that will release progressively larger mods that add up to the complete continent of Ansalon in the Age of Mortals.
Dragonlance is an epic fantasy saga set in a fictional world similar to Middle Earth, but a tad more alien. Dragonlance was spawned by the D&D game, so if you know Forgotten Realms, Greyhawk, Ravenloft, or Ebberon, you have the basic idea behind what makes up Dragonlance. It is unique from these worlds, however, in being a world of high chivalry and epic conflict. Good vs. Evil is a dominant theme, along with faith and corruption.
See www.dragonlance.com or www.dlnexus.com for more information on the saga.

This mod focuses on the religious upheaval caused by the Protestant Reformation in the 16th Century. Starting in the 1450s, the mod will see the Catholic European states struggling to cope with the Military Revolution only to be faced with open heresy. With factions including the Schmalkaldic League and the French Hugenots, Exsurge Domine will give you the opportunity to fight on both sides of the divide. The New World will also be integral in the mod, as the religious turmoil travels across the Atlantic to find new battlegrounds.
If you are interested in working on this mod, please PM me (JoeyBritt) or post in the thread

This mod aims to convert the M2TW engine into a relived experience of the Classical Hellenes at the time of the Persian invasion, with all new factions, units, and campaign map. This mod is focused on all the Greek Hellenes in the 5th century BC.
Main aims of the mod:
1) To create a realistic, historically accurate, diverse and fun to play campaign map spanning all of Greece, the southern Balkans and Asia Minor set during the time of the Persian invasion
2) To give fun, realistic battles with accurate units, which give an accurate experience of the battles of classical Greece and Persia
3) To avoid focussing on one particular area (as the title may suggest) but put an equal focus on all areas of the map and the people who live there (of course, more populated/important regions/factions will be represented with more cities, larger unit pool etc.)
4. To create a fun to play, immersive and realistic experience in both the campaign and the battles by varying the feel of each different faction and by forcing you to think more carefully about your actions both on the campaign map and in battles
