Expansion Features that work in other expansions/vanilla

Thjis is a list of all the features I've founnd that can be crossed over and those that cannot. Feel free to make suggestions about any I've missed.


Loyalty
Night Battles
Must hold this region victory condition

All work in all of the expansions and vanilla.

Hording
Swimming
Survivor victory condition
AI_do_not_attack
Unique battle models
Unique strat models
Unique portraits
Faction-specific merc units

Cannot be transferred across to any other expansion or vanilla

Shadowing
Re-emergance

Can be moved from BI to alexander

All of the features need (to my knowledge) the relevant expansion to be installed on your machine

Alex.exe supports basically everything from BI.exe except hording IIRC.

Really? How do you set up shieldwalls? I thought ALEX worked off vanilla not BI.

ALEX as far as the exe can tell, is pretty much an offspring of BI, with just some features disabled (for no apparent reason).
Most BI features shouldn't cause a CTD when you play on ALEX, the feature just doesn't appear. (like the shield_wall ability)
