New Roman faction problem?

I created a new Roman faction by changing the "Armenians" to a Roman family... I have changed their culture and fixed their diplomatic stance to make them allies of all the other roman's, and included them in the Senate superfaction. The only problem is I'm not getting any Senate mission's... What am I missing?

Have you add the superfaction line in descr_strat?

also maybe make sure you deleted / re-named the map.rwm file - I know its not exactly map stuff, but some other changes don't seem to work properly unless you do that.
