Where to start

I just deleted everything i had downloaded, because i had obviously done it in the wrong order.

Right, what should i do first, somebody told me to download a mod folder, but i dont know how to do this, and i downloaded a mod folder, but then i read down the posts and it said only compatible with mod 1.2, well how do i download a mod to put into a mod folder if i cant actually use the mod folder because it is not compatible with the mod!

Right, can somebody please tell me what to do first... please

I have to go now, if you could please post overnight (im in England) then i would be grateful, and if you could add links so i know what to do and where to go ...

If it's only compatible with 1.2, I think it deals with the 1.2 patch in which you've got the unpacker, I 'm not a professionnal but I understand that you must unpack first with the tool given in the 1.2 patch and only after you install mod folder.
