Elephantes Katraphraktoi Indikoi for me, both original and methinks very beautiful.

Hm, #2. Sweeping grandeur, nice tone in the colouring... Almost as picked out of a trailer for EB.

I picked #3: those elephants are so shiny and pretty, and I really like the camera angle.

I found it difficult to decide between yours and his, it's sort of an action pic which is why people like it.

Possibly, it is a great pic in its own right after all and that's what seperates it from the others.
I shall remember that for the next competition and call my next entry "The Action Pic". :idea2:

Indeed. The one I liked best wasn't even in the top 4.

And what's so special about #1 besides showing Getai in Egypt? No offence though.:smiley:

That's probably movie-cam and only available in custom battles...

Number 4 captures all the gritty-ness and fear that a true phalanx battle probably would, thats what made it my choice; a desperate phalanx indeed.

Number 2 gives a real nice feeling of "onwards, to victory!" type of deal so yeah....

well, ya. we like action pics for the most part, not as much some picture of elephants rambling onwards. and no offense, i think there were some screens that were better than yours, medio. not saying that ur wasnt good, but.....

I actually was quite amazed to find it here.
I only said I thought there were some screens that were better than the one almost everyone is voting for.
