I just had a look at the EB check list and must say, that is the longest and oddest looking check list I've ever seen. EB team members just aren't human. :inquisitive:
In all seriousness, what is it for? I assume it has something to do with the running of the game. If the ignore list tells the game which files to ignore, then the checklist must perform some similar service.
It's part of the installation Validation tool which is installed by default now - since we just kept having way to many people botch that installation up when they needed it.
I even updated the thing so that you can download a new checklist during the validation. But there are no fixes yet, so there aren't any new ones. The odd stuff at the end of the file is the MD5 checksum of each file, and is used to see if any file has been changed.
If someone wants to upload a checklist for a working BI or Alex installation, please PM me and I'll say how to generate it.
