Meny times I have witness sitsuation when there is just too much men on the campaing map.Like I hade once over 4000 men in all border prvinces and AI had same amount.
This is reason why I think armies size should be tied to land....for exemple province should have population like 20000 people.10% of that is amount that you can build men`s.(2000)Quality of thouse men`s
would depence where they ware build.Population could be tied farmlands and
prvinces.Population should be somewhere between 30000-5000.Inguisitor would get also hole new purpose.

I like the idea of limiting recruitment according to provinces' population base (that's an idea you found in EU). As it is now, you can produce a endless supply of troops from Sinai, and that's kind of weird (BUT let's keep in mind that troops are only 100 person each, so even a sparsely populated province can do that).
Anyway, as you say the inquisitor would become more meaningful, but it would also have an impact on you conquest priorities : conquering heavily populated provinces would become a strategic objective. Again, that moving the strat game closer to EU, and I'm all for that (other points can be duplicated, stability points for example).

I agree and disagree. Since turns are in YEAR amounts, there is indeed enough TIME to round up 40 to 100 men even in the Sinai, where there actually were forts to mass these sort of troops. The idea of a 'maximum' of roundups is a good one, if we were talking realism here, but since it's a game that strays from realism the minute you build, say, a citadel in the Sinai, what would be the value of such a limitation?

well, limitations are obstacle to overcome, so they're fun
more to the point, it would give more intrinsic value to the most populated provinces/country, as was historically the case. For example, the brits finally lost their wars against the French because they could not field enough troops, their population base being much smaller. That, in turn, directed their strategy towards maritime power/professional armies, where France went for 'conscription' armies (much later on, since conscription was invented during the revolution, but you get my general point).
Population is an important parameter in all questions of strategy, and it does not feature directly in the game (although we can imagine that provinces as Ile de France have high incomes precisely because they have a large population, the reverse example being Sinai).
In EU, you decide to conquer provinces because they have a large population, which it turns help you to raise larger armies. Countries as Portugal have very serious constraints there and must therefore find other ways to develop.
So that would be good, but certainly not for anytime soon, as it would require a massive programming effort, I suppose.
