question: buildings

hi.
playing EB i have to get accostumed to a complete new building system.
i wonder: there are sooo many new buildings and the explication about their pluses/bonuses/facilities are not exhaustive. plenty of temples, aras, and so on, grant of lands, different governments, trade areas, sending traders, and so on. but that does not explain about the most important items: economic and soldiering. and the s.c. building tree does not show all.
how can i make choices? is there any exhaustive explanation about buildings and facilities thru them?
