Polybian Reforms...Where are they!?!?

Hey guys, need help. I'll fill ya in.

I'm playing as the Romani, and the year is 202 BC. I still have no Polybian Reforms. By 232, i had easily completed the objectives required to spark off the reforms, or so i had thought. I had captured all of Italy (plus other areas of course), including Segesta, Patavium and Bonnonia, and the east side of Sicily (Syracusai and Messana). I had the highest Unit Barracks in at least 3 of my cities, yet no reforms. When I visited the forums to see if anyone else had had this problem, i came across how the reforms took place in history-by Rome's wars with Carthage and the Gauls. So i figured a war with these two was also needed. Now its the year 202, meaning they should have happened by now anyway, as they should happen by 210 anyway, and i am being swamped by enemies. If something doesnt happen soon, my new and fragile empire might be swept away...
I have seen no sign of anyone else having these problems, so i i have basically decided it cant be a bug in the game, so what can it possbily be? Need help ASAP pleasums. Cheers

I'd recommend you take Lilibeo and Mediolanum. Then check all your MICs. If it still hasn't kicked in, it would look like you haven't activated the script.

every time i try to activate the script, nothing happens...i click on show me how and he just goes away, nothing changes

but that is exactly how you activate the script, click it and it is suppose to disappear. reform conditions for all factions that has it is in the FAQ stickied thread.

Well, if you haven't activated the script before now you're screwed. You're sure you have the script running?

I don't know what else could be wrong, if you have fulfilled all the requirements and are running at least 1.0 your shouldn't have a problem.

No, you should have had the script running all this time, activating it every time you load up a game.

As the year is 210 (and the reforms automatically hit in 210) you must have failed to intialise the script. Nothing to really do about it, except start a new campaign.

hey it worked :beam: thanks guys, i didnt really realise about the script. When i clicked on it, the reforms happened and i went back to 239BC for some werid reason, but i dont care bout that. Thanks for your help guys

If you have been playing the game for a long time without activating the script, your game is most likely broken. You should start a whole new campaign and make sure to always activate the script.
