Is there someplace I can get a list of the base economic information (farm income) about all the provinces?
If a province is economically challenged and doesn't offer a valor upgrade, what is the minimum construction you would do to that province? Just a border fort? Or maybe turn it into a strategic unit production area?
In general, when it comes to producing military units do most people upgrade a province to produce a variety of units (i.e., infantry, arty and boats) or do you go for a single class of unit? From an economic standpoint it seems like you would want to take advantage of common buildings (i.e., armory), yet when the time comes to crank out units it would be beneficial to have many provinces with a range of production capabilities.

No matter what a province yields, I ALWAYS make 20% farmland, watchtowers and a keep to have something to flee in.
If possible I also build a trading house and a port, but only if sufficient resources are available. If a mine can be built, I build it!
Apart from that I don't do much with low profit provinces, except perhaps build bigger castles and unit production buildings.
