Does anyone have a comprehensive list of which units give points towards SS guild? I am particularly interested in Britannia campaign, but probably all would be helpful if its all stored in the same file.
Edit: also same question for horsebreeders guild. As the welsh there are no city based horsies, but in newly conquered english towns you can recruit british mailed knights from cities. I considered keeping 1 city with english culture just to get the guild
Dunno about kingdoms, but normally any sword wielding infantry gives ss points.
Horsebreeders: any horse unit gives points towards it. So you can convert a castle into a city and get the guild.
prior to the latest kingdom patch a bunch of sword wielding units in Kingdoms weren't included in the list that gave points to SS guild. i want to see if this has been corrected (i believe previously gwent raiders didnt count)
also english mailed knights are a weird unit in that they appear in all conquered english cities and castles regardless of buildings (only english culture requirement i think), so I wouldn't be surprised if they werent on the list either
I had trouble getting swordsmiths in the long road. I spammed sergeant swordsmen for several turns without result and finally for some reason checked the export_descr_guilds file in the mods data folder. However, I don't know which file corresponds to this in the vanilla or kingdoms... Can't find a similarly named file by searching.
In the export_descr_guilds file I found out that the new sword units in the mod did not add points toward swordsmiths and after training maybe 7-10 DFK I got the guild where I tried for it. I must have built 40 sergeant swordsmen in those castles :p

You can find this file in the data folder of the Britannica campaign after you have unpacked the files using the unpacker. (its in the tools folder)
You will read that the following units will add points for getting the guild:
- Swordsmen Militia 10
- Armored Swordsmen 15
- Highland Nobles 15
- Noble Swordsmen 15
- Gotland Footmen 15
- Muire 15
- Norse Swordsmen 15
- Dismounted Feudal Knights 15
- Dismounted Chivalric Knights 15
