Temp Work for EB: AI Formations for Historical Battles

In my work on historical battles I have come to learn a lot. The process of learning, however, tends to be brutal with much wailing and gnashing of teeth. One of the lessons I learned is that scripting an entire army to keep formation during one of the historical battles is a ridiculous enterprise. The better solution, as I have found, is to have an entirely new formation made for the AI to use and to use the bare minimum of scripting for certain actions. Only problem is that the EB team is currently short someone who is either capable or has the time to do so (I would learn it myself, but that is a significant investment of time, and the previous person I found has gotten caught up with real life). So I reach out to the fans.

Is there anyone who is capable of creating formations who would be willing to help? As it stands, there are two battles that can be released almost immediately as long as the formations work and the AI can mostly keep its integrity. It would be a major boon to the mod even though the work would only be temporary.
