Still with the immobile client ruler (1.1)
A quick search seems to suggest I am alone in this.
Specifically: EB 1.1, no mods, all fixes applied. Playing Pontos. Client ruler in Mtskheta can't sally, or indeed move at all.
First 1.1 campaign was Luso, but can't remember if I tried to move a CR in that one; think not.
Anyone wiser than me?
Re: Still with the immobile client ruler (1.1)
Does this client ruler have some traits that may hinder movement other than the client ruler trait? Is it also winter?
Re: Still with the immobile client ruler (1.1)
Ooh yeah that one (winter campaigning restricted; or in fact any movement limiting combination such as tired) hits particularly bad with Client rulers.
Re: Still with the immobile client ruler (1.1)
:idea2: you've activated the script right? just checkin ~:)
Re: Still with the immobile client ruler (1.1)
Thanks for the replies.
No, it's not winter, and young Xerxes is reportedly full of beans. And yes, the script is up and running.
Shame really. I swept into Mtskheta in a stroke of utter strategic brilliance (even if I say so myself), and now might be starved out by a frankly pathetic Hai force. I'll just have to try and get a relief force up to Kartli pronto.
Re: Still with the immobile client ruler (1.1)
You can teleport over a unit and attack with it, then you should be able to fight with your garrison. Just keep the teleported unit away from the fighting to keep it fair.

Thanks Bovi.
That's the kind of inspired thinking we (don't) pay you for.
I've never really investigated the console beyond FOW, but it seems to be justified in this case.
Has anyone else had this problem in 1.1?
