Quick Question:
According to the recruitment viewer, why is it that the Sarmations and the Saka Rauka can recruit their elite cavalry anywhere while the Pahlava can only recruit their elite cavalry within a certain area(the eastern portion of the map, more or less)?
I'm not being critical or anything, merely curious.
the RV isn't accurate in this point, since elite cavalry can only be recruited within a province that has the "nomad" or "mixed" hidden resource. See https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showp...21&postcount=1
I think it has something to do with the fact that the Saka and the Sauro's can train their horses everywhere in theory, but since the places where you can build nomadism or pastoralism are limited, the recruitment of their elites is de facto limited too...

No, Mediolanicus hits it just right; It is also meant to represent the migratory nature of bondsmen/herdsmen. Needless to say it is integral for our current recruitment layout.
Well, I've been able to build pastoralism in Carthage as Sarmatia and have been recruiting elite cavalry, as well as the Sarmatian infantry.
EDIT: So, does this mean I can build pastoralism everywhere?
Recruiting Roxolani nobles in Carthage sounds really funny.
