When I move them, they hold their spears with the butt end facing upwards(like a peltast).
As a result, their spears mysteriously go through the ground.

this is a result of the animation that allows them to use the spear overhand...
But Iberian Conflict mod also has a overhand spearmen without this problem...Quote:
