Hi All !
Quick question: is it possible to embed youtube videos on the org ?
Was trying it out and doesn't seem to work for me.

Sadly, at current, there is no working BB code for embedding videos - HTML code is disabled, which prevents you from using the code provided on the website for embedding as well.
There is a "[wmv]" tag, for embedding .wmv files though. It works for, as you may expect, .wmv files and, so far I've managed to get the .mp3 format and .mpg format working as well. I think it works with any file format Windows Media Player can play - I'm sure that the code works by requesting the Windows Media Player plugin and then asking it to play the specified file between the tags. Don't quote me on that though.
There's also a "[wmv2]" tag which serves the same purpose, only widens the size of the video viewing window for a widescreen effect.

Update - static Flash movies, as in non-interactive, appear playable by the function. This doesn't not include YouTube videos sadly which contain interactive/clickable content.
Ahh I see, thanks Omanes, thought I was doing something wrong.
HTML is off because it's a big security concern to have it enabled. I personally haven't come across any forums that allow it.
I didn't realise that wmv tags even existed either. I am now fully convinced that Omanes is either an ancient Oracle or is directly plugged in to the wikipedia servers.

Is it possible to allow youtube tag without activating html?
Sorry Caius, but there needs to be a BB code tag to allow any action to be performed. There currently is no tag for embedding YouTube style videos, so sadly no YouTube videos can be inputted.
