Sorry, i just had to vote twice, it doesnt do justice if i dont lol. I chose the Romani because they simply have an awesome game throughout the entire timeframe. They have one of the best armies availiable in terms of not only strength but also fun, and just because they are the focus of Rome: Total War.
I also couldnt stop myself choosing Makedon as well. Wow, i love these guys! Not so much for the gameplay as the Romani, but by god they are an awesome faction to play with....i mean, their faction colour is BLACK!! :drama1: Personally i'm not much a fan of the east, nor barbarian factions. I think the east is too....hmm....eastly?...lol, and i'm just not a fan of stinky dirty backward barbarians, so the Romani and Makedon it is :2thumbsup:
Rome, primarily, they're the faction I will play almost to the exception of all others. Largely because I don't like phalanxes, barbarians or horse archers.
I also voted Epeiros because they're my all-purpose "migrated Hellenic/Hellenistic" faction. They didn't matter after 270BC in our timeframe, and so moving them doesn't upset the historicity of the game.

Aeudui- very challenging and fun, and after you have reunited most of gaul you will have to probably face the poeni, and the lusitani, and romani and sweboz....and if the casse have united the islands of tin...well you know...
Epeiros - my favorite hellenic faction because they have a quick goal and after that they can do whatever they want - killl macedon and then expand either south or north....or west... or east...the possibilities are endless, plus the added fact of the many different types of units they can recruit as well as excellent regionals :D
Geta - Whats not to love about massive falx wielding warriors who ALSO get horse archers!!! :D
Favourite? AS. That's my absolute favourite faction.
Makedonia - I play them if I can't decide on any other faction.

I've voted Baktria, but I'm not sure that's true anymore. I've had so many good campaigns as different factions that it's hard to choose. Until relatively recently I wouldn't have considered voting for any barbarian faction but my 1.0 Casse 'Gallic Liberation' game was such fun that I almost voted for them. Naked Spearmen FTW.
Many Romani and Makedonia fanboys, but too many Baktria-lovers relative to the number of AARs we get from them. We need more Baktria AARs!
