Problem Adding Faction

I've been following the tutorial for adding factions from nothing, and I added Norway based on France with no problems. but when I tried to add three factions based off the Moors, I get this in the error log. Any ideas?

Some mucking about with the files seemed to fix the problem. :shrug:

EDIT: But having added another faction I am having the same crash. This time I have checked thoroughly and there is no explanation.

I've added 7 new factions with success. However, I'm having problems with the eight. I'm wondering if this is because this has moved into the Norman/Saxon spaces. I just used the same technique as with the other factions.

It is bizarre because I have checked EDU over and over, and there is nothing wrong with the pirate ships. I never edited anything to do with them in the first place!

EDIT 2: I removed 'slave' from the Pirate ship ownership line, but still I get the same crash. This is what the error log now records:

how many factions are there in your descr_sm_factions? i believe there are a limit of 31, the game seems to ignore the entries above 31. slave is the last on the list and the first to be ignored when the limit is reached.
