Hey All,

Yes, but that's ten years ago. I still have them, 3 squads of the Imperial Army, a half painted Chimera tank and a Leman Russ Battle Tank.
Started about 12 years ago, gave up a few years ago. Turns into a drain of money.
The Arena is not just for video games. :tongueg:
Warhammer, no capital H
I have two armies (Vampire Counts and Beasts of Chaos) though I haven't played in about 3 years due to time constraints and not seeing my mates as often as I used to. I still actively participate in the Hobby through internet forums though, so I haven't severed all ties with the game.
Haven't played in ages, but I still have my old-school Chaos army (Realm of Chaos era models) packed up somewhere.
Imperial Guard requires the most amount of effort and money due to the massive amounts of miniatures you will have to buy and paint. Even if you choose an armored company, you're still looking at a huge money sink. I still love mine anyway. I fashioned my Valhallan Ice Warriors after WWII Russians.
Hence my choice of Chaos. GW already had tons of my money from 2 40K armies before I started WFB. Chaos added half of another 40K army, and you can get 3000 points of a WFB army with about, say, 20 models. ~D Plus, they were cool, some of the best figurines at the time.
Imp Guard and Orks take way too long to paint. Your dedication is to be applauded.
I was kidding somewhat, but Chaos was definitely the smallest army out there. 1 Bloodthirster, 10-15 fleshhounds, 12-16 warriors, and a block of 30 beastmen with the general used up pretty much all the points. Maybe throw in a chariot or a Nurgle mage, depending on the opposing enemy force.
Did they nerf the obscene attack values? 100 models still seems pretty large given the overall power.
