Re: 70s rock... gimme some!
I never really liked Aerosmith. Honestly, they seemed like a (bad) '80s hair metal band that came about a decade too early.
I may have some actual decent suggestions later, but for now, just take my advice with Aerosmith.
Re: 70s rock... gimme some!
AC/DC with Bon Scott, and the beginnings of their second era.
Re : 70s rock... gimme some!
Kiss! Glam rock meets hair metal meets disco beat! It's still perfect after all these year!
And Kiss still owns today!!

Re: 70s rock... gimme some!
Yeah... I think I should have mentioned... no hair metal. Too 80's.
And disco just sucks.
Re: 70s rock... gimme some!
CCR, Nugent, Molly Hatchet, Cheap Trick, those kind of bands?
Re: 70s rock... gimme some!
Not so much like Cheap Trick; they're a little poppy for my taste. And yeah, kinda like the 70's Nugent (although I find Nugent himself too annoying to give any money to by buying his music.) The slower/Southern rock stuff is the best, like Molly Hatchet, the first BTO album and Skynyrd. Like, music to smoke to.
And thanks for the Molly Hatchet suggestion. :2thumbsup:
Edit: oh, yeah, and Foghat too. And not just "Slow Ride;" they're actually not bad.
Re: 70s rock... gimme some!
Some that come to mind...
Nazareth.
Budgie.
Robin Trower.
King Crimson.
Bram Stoker.
All rubbish IMO apart from King Crimson. Wunt do to all like the same thing, wood it?
Re: 70s rock... gimme some!
The Who has some psuedo-hard rock songs, and Deep Purple basically only played hard rock, but some of their music is sorta questionable.
