Another nubie here

OK, Stupid question and I searched my head off in here with no success.

How do I install the Mod's I downloaded from here? Example: Anno Domini MXVI, but nothing works so far so it is not this mod alone.

I have MTW2 installed with kingdoms plus the retrofit mod for it (Also have the nocd patch for kingdoms installed). I tried the BAT file and changed the medeval2.exe to kingdoms.exe in it but that gives a CTD with an empty '!' box.

Is there a cfg I need to change for each mod i want? Is it even possible to run these mods with what I have installed?

Someone please toss me a link, I only have a few hours to search through the responses to an "install mod" search :).
