Just wondering if there is any chance of losing troops/personalities to disease when it breaks out in a Province? In fact is there any effect at all other than lowering morale?Would maybe be better if alll provinces had some sort of population figure that altered over time in comparison to development/technology/happiness and thus such disasters might have more effect?

No they don't.
It's a bit unfortunate really - disease shuold also affect beseigers.
-
whats really the point of having diseases if they really dont have any effect in the game?

it half's your income in a provence. that sucks when you got a good provence not producing.
-
Ya but it would be nice if Kings/heirs/generals could kick the bucket if the plague breaks out in the province they are in.

If you have a plague in a province, I think you should lose some of the troops in that province to the plague.
In the 100 years war, the first half of the war featured English armies of 20-25,000. However, after the plague hit England, their armies were under 10,000 men.

I agree everyone in a province: kings, generals, troops, agents, princesses etc should all have a chance to keel over.
