Swedish teen girls have more sex with one another

More teenage girls than boys have had sex with someone of the same gender, according to a new dissertation from the Sahlgrenska Academy in Gothenburg.

The result comes as no surprise to the researcher, midwife Gun Rembeck, who works at the primary care clinic in southern Älvsborg.

“I work at the youth health centre and asked the staff there what they thought before I told them about the results. They answered right away that there are more girls,” she said.

Altogether 440 girls and boys aged 17 were questioned for the study.

“It was 6.1 percent of the girls who answered that they had had sex with someone of the same gender, while 1.7 percent of boys said the same thing,” Rembeck explained.

No one is quite sure why the answers are so different between the sexes.

“It may be that girls feel their way forward without identifying themselves as either homo- or heterosexual,” said Rembeck.

She thinks that girls are also more inclined to experiment than boys.

“There is less of a taboo for girls. During their teenage years girls are often a bit more intimate with each other in their own way. Boys are often more worried, afraid to diverge, and the expressed norm is to not be homosexual," Rembeck said.

Homosexual activity is homosexual activity. In the interest of fairness I oppose all kinds.

I thought that at first but reading into the article indicates they are more bi curious than actually lesbian... either that or i could go with the i like a challenge answer... that would be lies though... i could just be looking for more enthusiastic girls in 'films'... i could be hoping for a threesome!... theres a small chance i may be joking of course....

sidenote, i have always thought that the more gay guys there are the better, if like half of british men were gay there would be a whole lot more available girls... thought i would share that with you...

Well if we work off the assumtion that less is more (and lets face it it can be true alot) and if we work off the assumption that one who is a loser to some people is a genuis to others then we are left with....

440 x 6.1% is about 27. Ie - Not an even number.

Is this thing for lesbians a typical American... err, thing? The way I see it there's nothing hot with it at all since, as Craterus pointed out, they're not very likely to be attracted to you (given that you are a man, of course).

I would assume this would be true in at least most western countries, i have seen plenty of girls kiss that have boyfriends, whereas i have never seen a guy who declared himself straight kissing another guy, only ever known one gay guy whereas i have known quite a few lesbians or bisexuals... i don't usually ask them to define it for me...

Well we would need to investigate the mattress, it is supposed to only make hot females (particulary of the bisexual type) move here, the rest is only supposed to be turned into commies, so I guess you bring it along and we replace it with a new improved version.

As an ever-curious male from decadent Europe I find this news mesmerizing, and the accompanying thoughts and images rather interesting. The attraction to men of course is in the fact that you may identify with either or both of the girls without feeling shut out as a participant. I think I would prefer that scene to smoking some 'exciting' vegetable in Amsterdam. And this is from the original weed-artist Adrian II..
