Horde invades at certain year, are political consideration taken into account? The mongols would start with Syria, for example, instead of Khazar if it were beter, because they naturally chose the weakest point and sometimes this could be just that.
The turks and almohads become sometimes so powerful that they invade europe. Doesn't the fact that almohads invade Spain and France rampaging through Europe justify a new "historical" event like in case of mongols?

sometimes a message appears that this and that did so and so result: (e.g.) zeal is increased throughout france (or whatever place). how do i have to read this when i conquered most of former french territories? - provinces held by the french
- provinces that used to be french (beginning of the game)
- provinces that make up for modern day france?

French Provinces and France are two different things...I think zeal bonus etc only ever effects a geographical area (except Catholic/Muslim Spain...then it effects area under control...)
