I'm over this crashing.

GOD!

I can't start a single new game (I have version 1.0) without reaching a certain turn where whenever I press the end turn button it crashes.

Rome. Arverni and Aeudui.

Getai. The Arabian crap. Macedonians. Lusitani. Sauromatae.

I can't play a freaking game at all with this crap. I'm right on the edge of never playing again and only playing vanilla, because I'm SO FED UP WITH THIS.

I really, really enjoy this mod, but if I can't play a damn campaign without crashes, theres no point. I've done every single this everyone has recommended, and nothing works. My computer can handle it for sure, I know because I double checked the specs and reduced the game play to bare essentials to try and stop lagging.

Is there any help at all for me? Should I just get this faulty game off my computer and see if 1.1 is any better?

Btw, I read all the stuff Bovi put up and all this computer talk really mystifies me.

Just get 1.1 and the fixes for it. It's a lot more stable.

Here is my suggestion. Rather than trying to fix your bugs by getting 1.1, and then getting the files in this thread https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?t=101971, why not downgrade your game, to like version .72?

That way you can be sure to experience the maximum amount of bugs and crashes in EB, so you can create an even bigger list of complaints that will surely be ignored, because you aren't playing the latest version.

No problem, I hope going to .72 is complete failure for you, at which point you will decide that playing the latest version is the best way to avoid crashes.

In all seriousness though, get 1.1, get the fixes in the fixes thread, and then if you have issues, post the save games with an error report, and the EB team will try to help you.

EB isn't perfect, no game is, but you aren't doing yourself any favors by not playing the latest version, they worked hard on 1.1, and it is an upgrade in terms of stability over 1.0.

Seriously though, even if you get 1.1 with all fixes you will still get a CTD at some point. BUt there is another thread with lots of tips of maximizing the stability of EB, and with all three (1.1 + fixes + tips) you should be fine.
