Where is the unique buildings?
I want to change the capabilities and descriptions of some unique buildings (like The ruins of Babylon) but I can't find the code and text for them in the EDB and EB files.
I have tired to solve this problem for three days now without any luck, any help you can give me is really appreciated.
The strange thing is that I can't even find the diffrent temple descriptions in the EB files.
Re: Where is the unique buildings?
I believe that Unique buildings are coded in the way of "uniques_three_four" and things like that. For what Babylon is, I have no idea.
Edit: Babylon is called "three_one_egyptian". Just look for it in the export_descr_buildings.
Re: Where is the unique buildings?
The descriptions for all buildings can be found at eb/data/text/export_buildings.txt
Re: Where is the unique buildings?
This is really strange, my EDB and EB file looks exactly like the vanilla files but I see all the Europa Barbarorum buildings in the game.
Can someone please upload the EDB and EB files?
Re: Where is the unique buildings?
You're in the wrong folder.
Go to
Rome - Total War/data/EB/data/text/export_buildings.txt and
Rome - Total War/data/EB/data/export_descr_buildings.txt
instead of
Rome - Total War/data/text/export_buildings.txt
Rome - Total War/data/export_descr_buildings.txt
Re: Where is the unique buildings?
Thank you very much. I didn't know it was possible to put those files in another folder. How do the game know that it should look for those files in the EB folder and not in the original place.
Re: Where is the unique buildings?
Because of the line mod:EB in your EB shortcut. mod: is a command that makes the game look at the files in /EB rather than /data
