RTW Equivalent of M2TW's Vanilla Mod?

Hi all,

I've been playing the M2TW Vanilla Mod lately, but I've had a hankering for some Legions. I've been a fan of the TW series since Shogun, but I remember how much I hated RTW (so much so that I almost didn't even bother with M2TW), and so I want to know if there's a mod that fixes RTW up to the M2TW Vanilla Mod level. The things I remember driving me away from RTW were problems with infantry and cavalry movement speeds, friendly fire issues, the AI sending tons of very small armies all over the board with no rhyme or reason...

Please let me know if someone's addressed these completely!
