Half Life 2...mods?

So I got the orange box a couple days ago and having beat half life 2 (it's the week before school starts, I'm bored, amazing game by the way) I recall hearing something about there being a few mods for the game - and was wondering if anybody knew what the good ones are.

Chivalry has caught my eye as well as The Hidden, also.
