I have toggled_fow all the time. I don't like the RTW FOW system where, for example, I playing KH won't know of the fact that the Romans had burned down Syracusae or Antiochia had been fallen to the Armenians or an Epeirote army had been crushed near Pella without having dozends of spies running around on the map. Toggling FOW isn't perfect either because there are other things of which my faction shouldn't have notice of, but that's the all-or-nothing of RTW.
