Hard choice this round!

I think with EBII's varied unit soldiers, 21 would be the best shot, but the uniformity just doesn't fit it so well. 20, on the otherhand, just looks fantastic, and we rarely see casse units in these shots.

I wanted to vote for about 6 of them! But yeah, I've gone with Casse too.

So many great pictures. I chose 6.

Am I the only one who has trouble seeing #12? At least for me the picture doesn't load up.

I saw it earlier...that's not very cool.....if it doesn't come back by midday today, maybe I should post it in here in another post? Bah screw it. Here's a link for #12:

You might need to click on the picture of it in the new window/tab in order for it to not appear flattened. I had to.

Bit stuck between 2 and 8. Went for 2 in the end, even though the fading Pontic unit flag in the corner kinda ruins it, its an awesome screen capture which would be hard to replicate, and it does look good with the roman flag planted atop the hill.

Decided against 8 in the end simply because there were too many unit flags, which unfortunately in my opinion slightly turned it against me.

Well done to everyone that got entered, sorry i can only vote once.

the # 2 and 6 were my favorites, they are rare shots :2thumbsup:

went with 2 because that roman lifting his shield looks amazing.

Voted for number 12 because i really like big battle scenes but i have to admit the more i look at 2 the more i like it. It really has captured something rare in screenshots and is also the only screenshot i have seen where the picture benefits from having unit flags.

yeh, it might be strange but it's not as beautiful as some of the others...

But really, it ain´t that hard to do, just start the Battle of Zela, move your troops inside the camp and place them just bellow the fortifications, and let the Pontics come. I even got some really nice shots with guys fighting on the top around a broken chariot with the edge sticking forth, but the guys feets kept dipping into the ground.

How can we put the "movie_cam" ?
It's don't work like the other mods!

I voted for #9 because it had the best graphics quality and also because it gives you a feeling that you're part of the action. Number 12 looks pretty splendid, and definitely more epic than the others, but I have already made my choice. Next time someone takes a screenshot, they should turn their graphics all the way up, even just for a moment, if their computers cannot handle it. It just makes the picture look so much better. I saw a couple of otherwise superb pictures, such as #2 and #8 that I did not vote for because of the graphics, particularly the blatant lack of anti-initializing.

Depends on the circumstances also, for instance in summer in desert and similar regions; when the game renders the sun at 'its highest' no matter your anti-aliasing (at least if you don't force it through the software/bloatware that comes with some GFX cards) shadow's simply won't look like we've come to expect from 2008. That's really the age of the engine shining through there.

IIRC... right clic your ebconfig.xml file located in the EB folder and select "open with" choose your prefered text editor and search for ".exe"

a line like this should appear

how to join the competition? where to post the pictures?

This is the voting poll for August's competition...August is long over. I doubt there will be a September competition but there will probs be an October one and its my birthmonth so there had better be :idea2:.

september is mine. So i think there should be. I joined this forum the morning after my birthday. In fact is was the day of my birthday. So i think we should have a Screenshot competition.

But i was asking how to join the competition. not if there will be.

Uhh yeah i know, but competition poll threads usually don't just "fall off the charts" as they usually have some closure...but w/e I guess things have changed some. And more people are busy with EB II (that's a good thing). :juggle2:

i want. i think many do. but be sure to let everyone know it is one. it is probably hard, becouse it is very much abandoned.
