Requests to Host Games

In your request, please note the following:
Name of host - name of game (if known) - slot in calendar (size/slot: (month/year)).
ex: Askthepizzaguy - Batman: The Dark Knight - Large 2: (June '10).

If any special issues arise, or you need advertising (Large/Huge only) please PM Sigurd, GeneralHankerchief or Yaseikhaan.

This is NOT a thread for discussion, musings etc. Put in your request to host, or cancellation of same, and that is all. Other posts will be expunged.

You cannot request a new slot of same game size in the calendar until a previous game of yours with the same game size has reached concluded status.

Huge games needs two Large game slots. Find a month with two open Large game slots to book a Huge game.

All posts in this thread will be deleted on a regular basis, to prevent the thread becoming too big (big threads slow down the boards).

Small Game

Pisonian conspiracy

I'd like to move up my game to the 1st June slot. Also, it will be called Asylum. So:

However, I will not be able to host until after March unless my turn comes around before February 20th. So under those circumstances keep letting other games pass mine up on the list.

Large Game (June Second slot): Eternal Darkness: Whispers of the Ancients
Approximately 40 players, I think. The theme is a Cthulhu-like mythos inspired by an old game called Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem.
The game will be vaguely inspired by both YLC's "That Creeping Darkness" and the latest games in which players learn skills (like the Star Wars games and the Council of Villains).

I'll open a thread in the GAH when I've fleshed out the concept more, to draw some attention to the game.

The reason I can't host in the March slot is that I am away on vacation from end-March to mid/late-April, but if the queue shifts, I may be able to host before June. I've got plans for a week in the start of June though, so if it looks like it's going to be just around then, I'll stick with the second June slot.

I would like to host a small game for the next available slot.

In the same vein as Return of the Sith and Fall of the Order, except with less people and in a Lord of the Rings universe instead of Star Wars.

Huh. I wonder what my reaction would have been if I was still able to host right now, I had a eager eye on that slot and now it's been abandoned.
Oh and pizza if you ever fell you need a break with the writing I could help, I need some practice for Song of ice and fire and I should be able to squeese the odd writeup in easily when I dont have to deal with the daily pm's.

Capo is not going to happen this month (don't shoot the messenger! :tomato:), the plan is to let March play out as is and have Andres host his game somewhat early. I would speak to him, but he sounded ready to go with his game.

I will be unable to host my large game in June, my apologies.:bow:

Also, all the games (at least the small ones) in the queue are marked as "Not Available" at the moment.

I would be happy if game hosts would notify me with a PM on updates on their games after I have put them into the calendar/list.

Also while I'm at it, the Queue lists games in development as in the "Gameroom Assembly Yard". Which is nowhere. GAH! :tongue:

Gah my college is run by incompetent beurocratic fools! I dont like doing this but I've got to ask for an extention until july for my harrenhal game if it is convienient; my workload has been multiplied with little time to do it and I dont have the time to run a large game.
