Roleplaying On The Forums
When did this become something that goes on here? Is it even acceptable?
I see people referring to some of our less serious, casual players like ATPG as "roleplaying" their persona here on the .org. I mean, I understand not taking the game seriously, but it can be a bit confusing to see someone posting incoherency under the guise of a "persona" they've chosen to use on the .org.
Opinions? Is this childish? Is it just boring? Is it something that you like seeing, and view as entertainment?
I mean if it's acceptable on the .org and it's what they enjoy, go right ahead. It's just that some of us like having mature discussions regarding various game related topics and it gets confusing when you have to sift through the role playing posts that are not to be taken seriously.
Thanks
Re: Roleplaying On The Forums
I don't have a problem with it. Nobody forces you to read certain posts. I really don't see a problem with having a little fun on these forums. We're (at least I'm) not using them to plot a nuclear war.
