Deleting posts that are on topic and feature people like Kadagar_AV being proven utterly and completely wrong in a historical debate, is pathetic.
Pure and utter censorship to protect your "friend's" reputation? That's how the org is run now?
If you just want me gone, ask. This way, you're simply begging that I'm around here constantly repeatedly proving the unintelligents wrong.

Moved to watchtower.
However I believe it may be better to keep discussion in your other thread. Please refrain from reposting messages in the Citadel that belong to the Watchtower.

Re: Deleting/Moving posts
From the Guild FAQ:
Quote:
Although The Guild does not and cannot review the messages posted and is not responsible for the content of any of these messages, we at The Guild reserve the right to delete any message for any or no reason whatsoever.
This is always the way it's been run. I don't think any of us specially wishes for you to leave - for anybody to leave. But if you feel you are only here proving "unintelligents" wrong, then maybe it's a bad idea for you to stay here.
By the way, saying unintelligents can (and probably will) be perceived as an insult from you to those you were talking to.
And also, one thread is enough. Otherwise, you could be seen as an attention seeker. Which would surprise me, since you were here since February 2007.
My two cents...

Hello,
That topic is about Blitzkrieg isn't it ArtistofWarfare?
That is not a discussion for the Citadel really and it would be moved to a better suited forum. However there was some trouble in it and thus it was moved out of sight for cleaning.
I'm not quite sure what's going on here. Starting with your current signature:
Officially, @ 9:10pm EST on September 11th 2008, Askthepizzaguy got Rick Rolled. Can you explain that please?
You said in your second post (which is also the first reply in the topic): I'm actually not being combative or trolling you. There was an earlier discussion about this? Any combat?

Where are these posts you're referring to...
Can you link me to them?
edit: 5 minutes later- right, you can't link me to them because FH deleted all of them. As well as all of the posts from forum members who agreed with me. Yet, the conversation continued for over 5 hours before he deleted the posts. He only touched them and found them off topic once I had proven Kadagar wrong, citing several historical examples, and then several others agreed with me. Only then was any of it deemed "off topic" and deleted. You guys don't honestly think there's a forum user here who doesn't know what went on do you?
If you'd like to know what "went on", have your moderators not delete 10+ posts from 4 members in an attempt to cover up all traces of his friend, a so called historian, having a fool made out of himself.

I'm sure Tosa is capable of conversing on his own behalf. I doubt you're so intelligent that you need to speak on his behalf as well as your own.
The latter seems to be enough of a challenge for you. Stick to that.
Regardless of the hours you spent chasing/deleting posts: The entire conversation is back up in it's own thread and you were right: Received more attention in the monastery than it would have anywhere else.
When I need some more house cleaning done around here, I'll let you know. In the meantime, stick to my suggestion.

Now, I know what you think, the mods are playing tricks on you! They delete everything that you should be responding to, so that you look bad hey. I mean, they did it with the other thread, as soon as you made a point the posts dissapeared. Well, fear not. I have inserted anti-edit tags that are only avaliable to senior members. It means that no mods or admins can get rid of this:

I doubt the posts were deleted because he wanted his "Friend" wanted to save face. Mods are very lonely people, they tend not to have friends.

It means he's never gonna give you up.
EDIT: If you are being serious, Tosa, Rickrolling is showing someone a video, ie "Halo 3 Ending", which is actually the Rick Astley "Never Gonna Give You Up" music video. Hence, you would have been "Rickroll'd"

On the topic of that, IMO its not appropriate for your signature, ATPG could ask for it to be removed. Plus, he stated that he did not click on the link, as it would be a waste of his time. So, not only is it not appropriate, its not correct either.
Now, care to answer the question in the other thread?

You've trolled my personal page 4 times today and the moderators here are aware of all 4 cases of such...yet you're still posting.
This is a perfect example of the selective moderation that goes on behind the scenes here. There are different rules, for different members. This is what I don't like (and doubt anyone really does other than the pets).
edit: For all you know, Tosa and I have had a lengthy discussion on the matter via PM. You are not Tosa...therefore, you do not know what Tosa knows. Why don't you just worry about yourself, and go back to life as usual here on the .org. Clearly, you are just trying to argue with me. This is not a "Pevergreen" topic.

no this is not a "Pevergreen" topic, i dont know who "Pevergreen" is. :stare:
Trolling? No. I'm just making sure you know of the question. Yes, sure for all we know, you and Tosa are next to each other right now, having tea. But we don't know that.
User Pages are not subject to off topic rules etc. Not only have the 4 posts I've made there been outside 24 hours, in fact 1 was talking about a funny dueling video, the other was quoting romeo and juliet.
I made it quite clear to you, I am using your own posted logic against you. You stated (on a thread that is no longer visible) that you are sick of "selective" moderating, and that you have copied the post to repost it when it was deleted. Surprisingly, thats all I did AoW. So, did you enjoy having a single thing posted TWICE on your userpage! That must have been terrible. Maybe you understand what the moderators have to go through each time they are forced to edit or move a post. Or if you haven't got the point, I might be able to force myself to continue using your incorrect logic. Its not good for my health though.

You're repeatedly posing a question that has already been answered. Further, you are not the one who posed the question - I do not understand why it's YOU who keeps repeating it. It's none of your concern.

Where do you see me posting about ANY of this today other than to respond to your repeated baiting?
I have written many posts today. Some lengthy. All either game or history related other than posts like these (to respond to you).
I have even supplied you with a link to analysis of The Battle of Waterloo, which you claimed to be a battle that you were not familiar with. You thanked me for this link and our conversation there continues. Other than of course, when I have to stop and respond to your repeated trolling of my personal page WHILE we're having the discussion on the Battle of Waterloo in the thread.
I just don't understand what you want.
Go back to the thread I'm referring to and we'll discuss it - I'm not acting. I'm genuinely interested in the conversation (I keep stressing in this in multiple threads).
p.s.- As I check that thread again, I notice it's now locked. I mean, see what I'm saying? I was just about to post this, checked that thread for the link - and locked.
This is the kind of stuff I have an issue with. I did nothing wrong in that thread and the discussion was ...far better than some of the others around here. It was ATPG's thread. I'm supporting it, and complementing it.
edit: And now I've been issued 2 warning points for THAT thread. This place is unbelievable. Look at my posts from tonight. I have never received one prior warning in my 520+ posts (so many have been deleted). Tonight - 2 warning points. This is total proof that there is horrible bias on these forums.

I am aware, however, after going downstairs on a thought trip (returning with a bountiful harvest of chips) I realised i was stepping out of line, so I asked Martok to edit out all parts of the off topic conversation we had. I edited out mine (as you can see by my edit lines, all within a minute) and I can only presume Martok is doing that.
Once thats all gone, I am sure we can continue our civil discussion. We had a good one going.

You know what - You just apologized in so many words. In my mind, we're back at square one - I agree, let's just move forward.
Yet look at my edit.
2 warning points.
Yes, this thread IS perfect proof that there is bias. Now of course that "other thread" will be edited, changed, altered ...whatever. But the fact remains, 1/3rd of my posts are locked/deleted/moved and I'm issued warning points even when the most anti- AoW members agree they stepped out of line with me.
What's the sense? Why even post? ...

Well, how is there bias?
You claim you've done nothing wrong, yet from my perspective I've seen you troll and outright bait other members to get a reaction out them. You've even admitted to trolling at one point because it is "fair", something that is against the rules. I've seen you claim to educate someone upon a topic, and then call them names. As in the case of FH right here in the Watchtower, you explain yourself then tell him to grow up. How is it the mod in question is expected to act when viewing your post behavior in this light?
You continue to post with a confrontational attitude when concerning certain members you don't like, then act surprised when your behavior is looked upon negatively or is punished.
I'm really not sure how you expect to be taken. Your actions speak for themselves.
edit: removed lower half of the post, was redundant.

If that is your opinion, I respect it.
Here's the point:
You've apparently seen me do all of that, yet prior to 10 minutes ago I had never received a warning point in over 500+ posts on the .org. Not one warning...nothing.
TONIGHT: 2 warning points for a MAJOR infraction.
Of the aforementioned violations you've seen me commit, I don't think you claim to see any of those take place tonight.
Please - read my posting history from tonight. Anyone. You're telling me that they fit the quoted description?
Well that's when the 2 warning points for a MAJOR infraction showed up.
That's where the evidence lies in the fact that there is censorship and bias. Your post supports this.
