i had to DL a minimod before this patch to actually play with them. So are they in this patch or no? I see them in custom games but i cant recruit them in SP. Yes i have royal barracks and the goverment which recruits the best factional troops but i dont see them. I do seee throakati tho.(the tougher mailed elite). :wall:its 219 bc with 51 regions controlled. heeeeeelpppppp :help:
Pheraspidai and Hypaspistai are not available for Epeiros. The Epirotes were not a successor state that worked with the Makedonian idea of Hypaspistai/Argyraspides/Pheraspidai etc.
could sum 1 tell me how to mod them in? or find the guy who made it possible through the minimod lol. Theyre in custom battles... so wth?
Unit Recruitment Viewer suggests Hypaspists are indeed recruitable by Epirus in Pella (Makedonia) with Lvl 5 MIC (requiring Type I gov of course). So I checked the game data files (am running EB 1.1 with all fixes) - export_unit has 'thrace' (aka Epirus with faction shuffling in EB) listed as owner for "greek infantry hypaspistai" unit, and export_building has it available in 7 provinces, requiring LVL 5 MIC which can only be built in one of the provinces listed (SW, C, n1, n2, n4, y8 - aka Pella)
