after ending a turn in my macedon game I got a game crash. So I reloaded lifted fow followed ai and all. I noticed it happening when an aedui army atacked aventicos under sweboz control. so i reloaded again to take a look at the city and it crashes again when I double click on it?? anyone got an idea what that is? :help:
I've seen two other instances of this, it appears that some building is causing the problem when you attempt to view the settlement. The last file to be accessed are related to the egyptian_stone_wall, but I've been unable to find any solution to it. Thankfully it is a very rare bug, but that doesn't help you now... I'm afraid I don't have any other advice to give than to reload an earlier save (and risk that it still happens) or start a new campaign, sorry.
thanks for the reply bovi but thankfully I found out it isn´t what you think. I used force diplomacy to get the city myself which in turn made the sweboz general leave the cityand now the city is fine but when I click on the general I get a ctd so something is wrong with that sweboz FM. I am now trying to either move him to a safe ground as in an island using the console but that don´t work yet.

but keep getting character not recognized, also tried without last name and with a capital A at the end of the first name but no luck yet.
That's great, you're a lot further then :2thumbsup:. Perhaps you can move a unit over and smack him around with auto_win until he dies? If the game crashes when you attack him, you will have to teleport him, but that may be an easier solution.
