Re: Killing FM's and traits
I just charge mine into phalanxes and let them get surrounded so they get killed while fleeing.
Or, you could play as the Casse. You would never have issues killing of FMs then.
Re: Killing FM's and traits
give_trait "insert loser's name here" Hypochondriac 3
Finding out the exact name can be tricky. I'd suggest you search the factional names file.
Re: Killing FM's and traits
I try sending them out alone against rebels and autocalc, doesn't always work one FM, a complete idiot, ended up a 7 star general retired to Capua and became faction leader!
Re: Killing FM's and traits
Sounds like he earned it too...

Where exactly is the file located in the EB folder?

Autocalcing it almost never works. Better off playing it out and ensuring they die. Attacking settlements alone is often a good way, especially if they're able to force their way inside, to get trapped with the enemy.
Re: Killing FM's and traits
Put them all on a trireme, and then send them off against pirates. It may take a few turns, but eventually the ship will sink.
Re: Killing FM's and traits
Nah, all bananas...
move_character "name of the character" to Gotland (the island in the middle of the baltic).
Siege the rebel city, and when the enemy sallies forth to attack, autocalc with auto_win attacker enabled, and voilĂ !, FM`s genocyde.
You can do it with multiple FMs.
Re: Killing FM's and traits
Put the general on a boat. Land him on an island to besiege and get your fleet away from the shores. When he looses the auto-battle he will die.:skull:
Re: Killing FM's and traits
or you could just you know... kill him off with the console... or put him in a proper battle under another general, and send him forth into a horde of my Celt brethren. We dice up family members gooooood. Swing him round the flank and just park him right behind their battleline. He'll get sandwiched between the proper infantry and missiles, reserves and their own general. surrounded and minced. Presto, one finely simmered Family Member.
and if he fights his way out, he deserves life.
till you do it again atleast :P
Re: Killing FM's and traits
Actually a good way for a Roman play is to send them north of the Alps and build a fort, at some point one of the spawned rebel armies will be-siege them and that is a guaranteed death, and can get rid of several idiots at once.
Re: Killing FM's and traits
I have never used console commands before - how do you open up the box to enter in the command?

The kill_character command doesn't work in the console.
Re: Killing FM's and traits
i cant even move them in the console... Its kind of annoying when I am trying to roleplay certain things... maybe I should go to the technical support...
I know somepeople do use the kill_character command in EB. so maybe its either something with our games or we are doing it wrong, or theres other characters sharing the name... I bet rome wont have a problem with the latter...
Re: Killing FM's and traits
You can put the kill_character command in the generic script.
Re: Killing FM's and traits
is it me or the op is being a little racist? :inquisitive:

You press the ` or ~ key (same key, 2 functions) that should be right under your Esc key. This opens up a sort of a message box where you type in the cheat and then press Enter.
