To keep the peace- A Mini Mafia.

Soldiers,

As you know, the Republic of Gahistan has fallen into civil war. With various rebel factions fighting loyalists, and reports of human rights abuses, your company were inserted 3 days ago to keep the peace in the capital. I am sorry to hear that you were attacked and lost most of your company, save the 7 of you. We are sending a helicopter to evac you out of the area, however, we have recieved reports from our intelligence that there is in fact an insurgent hiding among you, he must have slipped in with the already multi-national troops.

We cannot send support if this man remains alive, out of concerns for the safety of you and the entire U.N. Find him. Kill him. Let me know when this occurs.

My breakout Mafia game.

Rules and roles:

1. The Insurgent, chosen at random, must stay alive. He can win if he kills all other peacekeepers or stays alive by the time the helicopter shows up.
2. The peacekeepers are the rest of the players, they must find the Insurgent and execute him. A special role among you is included.
3. The Helicopter will arrive in when 2 players are left. Exactly. Peacekeepers will now be under some pressure to get the insurgent.
4. I will create a special write up should the insurgent be killed before the helicopter arrives.
5. PM's from myself or any player may NOT be quoted.
6. The peacekeeper with the role may reveal his ability if he chooses, but until then, this ability will only be known by me.
7. No editing to change votes. Change your vote in a new post.
8. Vote: No Lynch will only be allowed once for each player.

Soldiers, it is now time. The helicopter has departed, and is on it's way. You must now start your search for the insurgent. Eliminate him by any means necessary.

The soldiers looked at one another, in suspicion, Shlin broke the silence. "Well, we are still in uniform, we must keep order maintained. Therefore, I believe we should vote to find the insurgent."

YLC agreed. "Yes, tonight, we cast votes. The one voted will be executed. We will meet back here in 5 minutes, gentlemen, get your vote ready."

And so they departed, each contemplating their suspicions.

And so, it has begun.

For not participating in mafia games...

Its called not having an internet connection at home and only being able to access when I can sneak into the library...

The peacekeepers assembled that night, each announcing their vote and suspicions. When everyone had spoken, El Diablo finalized the votes.

"The person with the most votes is......myself." his face slowly lost color, "And.....FactionHeir?"

The group gasped, a double execution? All in one night? Shlin, the last to vote, spoke up. "There's got to be only one insurgent, and we have two men facing death. I say we vote again, between the two."

Aries and Quintus protested, but the rest of the group agreed. Shlin announced, "We will meet back here with one vote, El Diablo or FactionHeir"

"Can we vote?" FactionHeir asked.

"Why would we let those facing execution vote? No." Aries shouted.

So the men departed, leaving El Diablo and FactionHeir.

Yes, and they can only choose between you two.

Corporal Yoyoma raised his U.N. Helmet a bit and scratched his head, maybe he should have spent those years in College like his dad had wanted, instead of joining the military. At least he got to work for the U.N. as a peace keeper... they seemed to do good work, but this whole thing was confusing him.
