I was just looking around in the Battle Map Editor when I saw this weird thing.
I was able to get different types of forts.
This is the usual fort in game:

So is there anyway to mod the game so that the forts could be upgradeable?
If I'm correct what you've done is change the wall level of the fort?
If so then it wouldn't be upgradable but you could theoretically change the wall level for all forts (thinks for a while about possibility...)
Yes, I changed the wall level.
So, I can not make the forts upgradeable but I could change that in battle map all those forts appear with stone walls?
I think I read a text file in the data/text folder that had a line "Upgrade Fort" or something but apparently this feature never made it to the game~:(
Check TWC downloads its a while back but I released a Fort mod which gives both stone and A NEW roman wooden fort that is bigger. I placed them in my SPQR mod. The best way to look way back because alot of this was done over a year ago or MORE.

Not sure anymore, so correct me if I am wrong ....
You can however not use the walls, meaning you cant put your troops on the walls and have the AI siege the fort. (or vice versa)
