You tried turning off anti-aliasing?
Re: What does it take to make a good AAR?
That may be a problem  btw how would i go about posting them on this forum??
Re: What does it take to make a good AAR?
I upload mine to photobucket then link them, though you will need a program to convert the tgas-I use GIMP, a free download(just google it). As for what makes a good AAR, I think the best thing is to write it for yourself and not worry too much about what other people think.
Re: What does it take to make a good AAR?
Thanks john :beam::beam: i know that i got what i think is a good idea but i dont wanna put an AAR on just to get it flamed down:wall::wall:
Re: What does it take to make a good AAR?
I genuinely can't think of an AAR that was "flamed down" here. The worst that would happen would be people giving you constructive advice on how to make it better, my Pahlav campaign isn't great but all I have had is encouragement from other members. I hope you do put up an AAR on your campaign, the Sweboz are still the only faction I have taken to a victory on EB so they will always be one of my favourites.
Re: What does it take to make a good AAR?
Btwdude i love ur AAR and yea if thats the worst ill go ahead and post away  thanks
Re: What does it take to make a good AAR?
Just write your story and don't worry too much about replies. Even if you don't get any replies, keep writing and eventually you will get frequent replies and steady viewers.

Also, don't get too discouraged if your AAR doesn't get too many replies. A fair few people don't post a lot in other people's AARs (myself included) simply because we don't want to clutter up the thread with replies, which, for me, get in the way of reading the actual content.
oh, btw, I read your Sweboz intro, promising start, I look forward to reading more.

Re: What does it take to make a good AAR?
Yeah. I get a small number of posts on my AAR and still update it anyways.

I am also one of those people, I usually only post when an AAR begins to let the person know I will be following.
I have noticed that, although I get few posts, when I put up a new chapter in my AAR the views shoots up, so that would probably be the best way to gauge whether people are following.
Re: What does it take to make a good AAR?

Enter the thread and copy the URL from the adress field in your browser. Enter your User CP > edit signature. Either just paste it in there or write a text, mark it and press the "insert URL" button, then paste, so the link can be followed by clicking on the text.
