Well, was familiar with the problems in this article, but it still amazes me how powerful greed and incentives are. There should be a law restricting the use of bonuses or lessen their share on the payroll. I'm disgusted - every person with some basic knowledge in economy knew at least after the internet bubble how managers often try everything to meet the targets tied to their bonuses even if it means that it will harm the company. Trials are needed. Sadly the guilty walk often away because the law is constructed and executed in such a way that it is very hard to convict them. Money at work.
