Carthage Reform Marker Spam
Hi,
yes there was a thread "Carthage Reform Building Spam" and I've read it, but since this wasn't 1.1 I think I make a new one. ~:(
I'm playing Makedonia with EB 1.1. It's 199BC currently and I own many of the Carthaginian core cities. I have renamed the faction Phoinikes. The problem is recently I discovered some Carthage1Reform buildings there, 3 in Atiqua, in Adrumeto, in Lilibeo and in Lepki, and 1 in Carthage. In Ippone and Kirtan yet no one. Also, in Sala, Lixus, Karali and Bocchoris, still owned by Carthage / Phoinikes, are spammed three reform markers each. They have post-reform units in Karali. In Mastia and Gader, owned by Lusitania, there are also 3 reform markers each.
I've currently renamed all of these affected cities to a Hellenic sounding name. I'm not sure whether this stopped it so far, since they do not seem to spawn every single turn. The buildings windows are full save for 1 - 3 spaces.
I need help please. My campaign is incredibly immersive. What can I do?
Re: Carthage Reform Marker Spam
Hmm, I didn't think there were any problems left with marker spamming. You don't need to do anything more with your game, renaming the settlements should make sure that no more markers are created. But could you please post your savegame so we can see why there is a spam of them?
AW: Carthage Reform Marker Spam
Of course: http://www.axifile.com/?9296434 I hope it works.
OK, so renaming does the trick? Am I technically able to rename cities I do not own myself? Or do I have to go via Force Diplomacy?
Re: Carthage Reform Marker Spam
Um, I don't really know. I've never renamed any cities. Force diplomacying them to give you the settlement, renaming and giving it back should work at least.
