I'm in the middle of a Parthian campaign and have reached the point where I have a large and well developed infrastructure, however my bodyguard units are still the ones you get in the beginning.
I want to change the bodyguards into the later ones, the Sahigan Pahr, but I really don't want to wait for the March of Time for it to happen. So my question is what do I need to edit to switch over to the later ones?
I could be wrong but AFAIK the later Parthian bodyguards will appear when the vanilla Marian reforms happen (actually most bodyguard units will change with them)... and AFAIK they will connect when Rome reaches "Huge City" state. Please correct me if I'm wrong...
You are correct, however what I'm interested in is what files I need to edit to change the bodyguards manually.

Yes I was. Unfortunately that save game got ruined from a recurring ctd. :wall:
I've started a new Pahlava game since then, so right now I'm a looooong way off from the March of Time.
