Casse Campaign Crash

Recently I started a new Campaign with the Casse; everything went very well - until today, when I tried to load my saved game. Here is the link for uploading my game:

I´m in the year 249 B.C. (EB 1.1) and I had no problems with the game as yet... not a single crah. Shortly before the game is loaded and the screen changes to the campaign map, the program crashed and EB ends automatically and returns me to my desktop-screen.

Please help!

That would be a corrupt savegame and you will need to revert to an earlier save. That save is completely unrecoverable.

That is a curious thing: for example, the "autosave"-file, saved 12 minutes before my own saved file, crashes in the same way. How could that happen? Is there no chance to recover my game?

autosaves are notorious for corrupting. Once a save is corrupted there is no way to make it work again. It is always best to keep multiple saves of your campaign.
