System checker let's you see if you can run a certain game.
Interesting program my friend sent me a while ago. I thought I'd share it so that people can check if they can run their favorite games.
All major PC titles listed, it's simply choosing the game, waiting a minute, and each requirement is checked and reported on. An overall preformance bar is shown at the top.
It hasn't worked for me ever since I built the new computer - it can't read any of my components.
It's a useful thing for a kind of rough estimate, but don't go by it's results totally.
Because I remember it giving me a negative results many times, and I could still run the games pretty well.
That website is crazy, it says I can't run Dawn of War and Spore even though I got them, and apparently I can run Kotor I and II when I can't... :dizzy2:
My machine used to be compatible with RTW, but following the episode with Wavepad which deleted a load of files during uninstall, it no longer is, always messing up graphically on the campaign map before blacking out. I've reinstalled RTW, I've tried updating graphics drivers, but neither worked. I can't find my Windows disk, but I do have an I386 folder. Is there a way of checking what's been messed up or missing?
