The Generals view/The soldiers view: are they in?

I rather liked to fight RTW battles against human opponents with the General's view enabled. Will this feature be in? I would add a great realistic dimenision to the gameplay.

Another idea would be some sort of LOS determined fog of war for all units on the battlefield which limits what you as supreme commander can see. You would still have a freeflowing camera allowing for easy manipulation but also far more strategies available - you could hide cavalry and infantry behind hills or houses and avoid thus detection, keeping the enemy in the dark.

The third idea would be to give every unit the ability to hide in forests - this may not be a solution as good as the other two, but would be very simple to implement.
