pontus and the chersonese - a 1.2 question
quick question - i'm battling on in my pontus campaign (i know the votes are now higher for getai and hayasdan, but at the time of starting, it was pontus) and i've just had a pop up about the chersonese. it's said something along the lines of "our allies there are in danger" and if i send an emissary, their troops will join me. i am, of course, sending a diplomat over, but i already have a spy there, and i'm not sure if i'm meant to get chersonesos to rebel to me, or bribe them, or if it's merely saying "now's the time to invade".....can anyone clarify for me please, what the message implied, and what i should do?
thank you!

IIRC, you need to send an army to Crimea and a second army will spawn.

IIRC, in my last Pontos campaign, my army landed at the notification, and there was a rebel army that spawned, and I bribed it at a very cheap price. I think it had a flashing white ring around it to show you that that's the one the script was referring to, I think the general was named Rhaksos or something like that...I'm afraid the details are a little hazy at this point.

strangely, there was an eleutheroi army there, but on arrival, it had gone - i think something to do with the large sauromatae army that was hanging around there as well.....
as it turns out i took chersonesos, but not without a fierce fight....
