Not gonna happen. Moreover, I shall never let some mad scientist touch my noble corpse after I die.Quote:

For ethical reasons, they don't give enough money to the subject to justify the risk. You should never participate in a medical study just for the money.
It depends whether they wanna study how big suppositories can be made before they are a pain in the bum or whether they want to check for how long can the average male have sex with really unbelievably beautiful women before collapsing.
Don't do it! There are some real horror stories about when these things go wrong.
Your trip won't be much fun once your arm falls off.
I guess you're thinking of this case?
I think studies going that disastrously wrong are pretty rare, but it's certainly not going to be any fun; the whole point of the study is to find out what kinds of nasty side effects the drug has so it's quite probable to make you ill to some extent.
On the other hand, someone does have to do it or we wouldn't get any new medicines, so I suppose it is a relatively worthwhile thing to do. Becoming a human guinea pig isn't ever going to be a way to make a decent living though.
i dont mean to make a living out of it, just this once to aid my journey... all the medications we use have been tested at humans at some point, though.
I'm a lucky (so they say. Suffering it is never something that embraces "luck", I'm sure, though.) SJS survivor.
Basically it's a reaction of your immune system that your own body (inside and outside) is torn apart by your very own body.
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
Go sleep with a man that would pay you. You'll suffer times and times less compared to what SJS can do to you.
DON'T DO IT. I'LL BE HAPPY TO GET YOU AS MUCH AS I CAN WHEN I START WORKING (HOPEFULLY). FOR MONEY, DON'T RISK TRASHING YOUR WHOLE LIFE.
Well, both of my parents are doctors, (dad is a cardiologist, mom is a neurologist)
One thing that they both say to me is to NEVER enter these clinical trials for experimental drugs. They have seen way too many deaths or adverse side effects from them to recommend such trails for mere money. The only circumstance that they would recommend it to me is if I had some terminal illness that couldn't be cured by conventional drugs and clinical trials might be the last hope
Still am I, Jolt.
TheStranger, I didn't say "give it away for free".
You recover well enough to stay alive yet the medical sequels are virtually irreversible.
