Ai battle formations with alx

I play with the minimod pack for alx, and the ia seems smarter both on campaign and battle map. But i have that problems, ia stay always on guard formation make the fighting very strange.Often i see the units stay for all the battle in strange positions without fighting at all, and cavalry seems very weak in guard mode. I try to install the shilunet battle formations but i have the same problem. How i can fix that?

you could change the AI battle formation... try Lysanders mod thread

The mod pack uses sinhuet (sp?:sweatdrop:) battle formations... so... you could either try with Darth's or the original EB formations (there should be an improvement nonetheless, since you're using alex exe )

Go with Darth's like Lz3 said. Also, its AI not ia.

Thanks for the advice and the wonderful submod lz3, i used the original eb formation and now most of the units are in offensive mode :2thumbsup:
