I need some help with an annoying part of the typical AI stupidity.
As Epieros, i control greece, after a prolonged war with the Ptolies' over Byzantion i began to march into Anatolia and try to destory the massive super powers threat to my borders. by creating Buffer states, or just given the smaller factions a chance. So i allied with Pontus and gave them Ipsos as a gift, They gave me 210 mnai back.
Now i wanted to give KH halicarnasoss and Sardis. For Pontus, Mazaka and Ipsos. That was the plan anyway, Ipsos was received. But the KH even after Forced diplomacy still wont accept my gifts and it seems pontus doesnt want to know about Mazaka.
Can i get them to have it other than hoping it rebels to them? or is the AI just too stubborm. :wall: :wall:

When FD make them pay like 100 minais in exchange of the city. That usually works for me

Could be that they lack money. Go for "add_money "greek_cities" 40,000" if you want to be sure.

I believe Hax hit the spot. FD won't work if you demand something from the AI it can't provide, i.e. money. Instead, just give the KH the cities in exchange for their map information.

What a complete lack of common sense. I could just FD a swap with map info!!. But i coulda sworn i tried it.
Pontus took mazaka for an exchange of 100. but the KH wont swap i guess they cant afford it with 3 cities and two massive stacks on rhodes doing F'all.
I presume that adding cash to the greek cities is done on the console, i have never cheated before. Technically im not really benefiting my own faction just helping out some others :beam:
But FD and console cash boosts will have to be used to have a good role playing campaign i suppose.

I have had the same problem recently - trying to save AS from the Yellow Fever, I (as Romani) won back Antiocheia for them, but they would not accept the gift even with FD until I offer them Antiocheia PLUS 10.000 mnai AS A GIFT! :idea2:
